Keeping hyperactive children active during the day and in activities after school has been found to be a great way of letting them get rid of this hyperactivity and restlessness. You can choose from a wide range of activities. Some children do not like the competitive element in sports activities - I know I hated them as a youngster and wished I had had a happier childhood. You have to select an activity which the child really enjoys and remember that this is great for stimulating the brain as well- concentration is a part of a lot of activities. I am not including computer games/TV/Videos in this category as they are more damaging than beneficial. There are far too many cases of obese children and we do not need a nation of couch potatoes. Gym, trekking, cycling, athletics, martial arts and swimming are great for non-competitive sports. The important thing is that parents, while not having to be actually present during all the activities , nevertheless are keeping a check on their kids’ progress and will be in touch on a regular basis with the coaches or instructors involved.

That leaves you with the choice for medication for ADHD disorder in children. It will now be obvious that psychostimulant ADHD drugs are just too risky to contemplate and seem to cause as many problems as they allegedly solve! Wouldn’t it be great if there was some ADHD natural remedy which would free you of all the worry about side effects ?
